HY-708B is a kind of traditional highly purified organic bentonite, which is modified from quaternary ammonium salt. It is a kind of excellent anti-settling and thixotropic agent that used in solvent system. It is widely used in low to medium polar solvents paints and inks etc.

HY-708B is recommended to be made into a pre-gel first and added before grinding. To obtain the best dispersion effect, it is best to use high-shear equipment. HY-708B requires a polar activator to be fully dispersed. The available polar activators are: propylene carbonate, methanol/water (95/5), ethanol/water (95/5), or acetone. The amount of polar activator can be adjusted according to different systems. Generally, it is 30-50% of the amount of organic soil.
The dosage of HY-708B in the system is usually 0.2-3.0% (by weight).

It is packed in double layers with kraft paper outer packaging bag and polyethylene film inner packaging bag, or in valve mouth paper bag. The weight is usually 25 ± 0.25KG or as required by the user. If it is stored under dry conditions and the packaging is not opened, when the temperature is 0°C - 30°C, the quality validity period is 36 months.
